Well as you may have noticed I haven’t added a lot of new things to the blog. It has been a transitional time for me and I have been working everyday to try and get all my little ducks in a row and they are charging off in different directions worse than a classroom of preschoolers.
I left my job as a sales rep so I could spend more time on our cleaning business and work on building Junque Therapy into a real business instead of just a hobby. So the last few weeks have been about getting the old job behind me and catching up on a lot of things for our business that I have let slide over the last year. But mostly it has been spent researching and taking online courses about blogging.
Who knew you could spend years just learning how to launch a blog correctly. How to set it up, how to advertise it, how to use search words and analytics, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest, so that more than just your five most loyal friends are reading what you write! Not that I don’t appreciate all 5 of you , I do!
So, while I have learned a lot, the main thing I learned is that I have months to go before I am even rating as novice blogger. And I have had to admit that I will have to get outside help to launch this thing correctly so I am searching for a good web design person that will be affordable enough I won’t have to mortgage my house to pay them.
The exciting news, yes I am aware none of that was very exciting, the exciting news is…I have decided to launch a line of Milk paint and a line of Chalk paint under the Junque Therapy brand. I have used chalk paint for a long time and love it!
Milk paint is a new thing for me, I have been researching it and painting with it for only a couple of weeks. So far I am in love with it as well. Both of these paints are completely all natural, non toxic, no VOC paints. They are easy to use and even first time painters and DIYers can make a piece look amazing using these paints. Best of all they are 100% green, not green the color, green the certification. I am going to go more into these paints in another post – what makes them unique and how to use them .
